A 2013 Arran single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in an ex-bourbon barrel for eight years, before being bottled as part of its Provenance Coastal Collection. Aromas of sweet barley, damp wood, soft spice and tangy salt fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, nutmeg, buttery pasty, dried seaweed, salted caramel, green apple and honey throughout the palate.
