70cl / 58.9% / Berry Bros & Rudd – A 2017 Stauning Danish rye whisky from independent bottler Berry Bros & Rudd that was finished in an ex-Moscatel cask before being bottled in 2022 as part of its Nordic Casks #2 series. Aromas of raspberry jam on Icelandic rye bread, leather, cigar papers and green herbs fill the nose, complemented by notes of liquorice, fruit cake, black pepper, toffee, figs and rye spice throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
