70cl / 48.4% / Douglas Laing – A 2004 Port Dundas single grain whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a refill barrel for 18 years, before being bottled as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of sweet cream, vanilla pods, sponge cake, buttercream icing, banana and white chocolate fill the nose, complemented by notes of honeycomb, peach, vanilla, toffee, shortbread, baked ginger, toasted waffles and syrup throughout the palate.
