70cl / 56.5% / Decadent Drinks – The fourth instalment in the Islay Sponge series from indie bottler Decadent Drinks is a 2003-vintage Port Charlotte from Bruichladdich distillery. This whisky balances farmyard funk with a maritime character, aromas of haystacks, sea breeze and salty peat smoke fill the nose, with notes of lemon verbena, dried meat and stewed fruit on the palate.
