70cl / 54.4% / The Whisky Exchange – A 1998 Laphroaig single malt, matured for 21 years and finished since 2010 in a single oloroso sherry cask before being bottled in 2019 by The Whisky Exchange. Leathery aromas of new cars and singed roast beef fill the nose, alongside butter icing, mint, orange peel and dark berries. The palate offers notes of Demerara sugar, liquorice, stewed orange, dried cherries, cinnamon baked apples and blackcurrants.
