Description
70cl / 60.9% – Kilkerran Heavily Peated has been matured in of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, adding a fruity, sweet character alongside the savoury peat centre. The nose is full of fresh apple, strawberry and boiled sweet aromas, with an undercurrent of wood-smoke and toasted marshmallows. The palate offers notes of buttery popcorn, brown sugar, freshly-baked pastry and peppermint creams, before developing into vanilla, butter, toasted oats and sea-salt that linger in the finish.
