Rich and spicy triple-distilled pot-still whiskey from Midleton is initially aged in bourbon and sherry casks before being finished for 12 months in casks that used to hold rich red Pinot Noir wine from the famed Quails’ Gate winery in Canada’s British Colombia. The nose and palate are both filled with red-fruit notes including cherry, cranberry and red apple.
