70cl / 55% / Signatory – A 1990 Bruichladdich single malt from French indie bottler La Maison du Whisky, matured in a single refill sherry butt for more than 25 years, before being bottled as part of the ninth release of its Artist series. Heady floral aromas fill the nose, alongside beeswax, clove, sea salt, candied citrus and aromatic peat smoke. The palate offers notes of earthy peat, liquorice, malted barley, apricot, white peach, tart plums, almonds and coal dust.
