It is Wednesday 23rd June 2010 and all three Whisky Boys are round at Jim’s for tonight’s triple tasting event.
On this evening we have two guest tasters with us and both of them are Irish.
Caol Ila Whisky – Berry Bros. Bottling, 30 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This is the third of the three tastings (see tastings on Linkwood Whisky and Tomintoul Whisky) Dougie and I had this evening (Thursday 17th June 2010) and it is the one that we left for the last.
Tomintoul Whisky – Peaty Tang, No Age Statement, Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This is the second of Dougie’s three tasting bottles. Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland. Tomintoul Distillery is located in the Glenlivet Estate at Ballantruan.
