70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling – A somewhat forgotten Springbank, overlooked by most in favour of the (admittedly great) 21yo. This is a different kind of special Springbank, distilled in the early 1970s and matured in refill sherry casks – yet despite a 91 point rating from whiskyfun.com it never really became as well known as pehaps it deserved. Still a great whisky.
