A special-release of 1973 single malt from Fettercairn distillery, matured for 46 years and has been finished in tawny port pipes. Aromas of overripe bananas, toasted sourdough, fresh oranges, plums, dark chocolate and figs fill the nose. The palate offers notes of spiced pears, coffee, caramelised orange and liquorice, with hints of black cherries and plum lingering in the finish.
