This dram is one of the world’s best selling single malts, and is easily recognizable by it’s triangular bottle.
This wee dram can be found in almost every supermarket as well as in every Whisky shop nationwide.
I think many Whisky drinkers would find it almost impossible to go into a bar or restaurant anywhere in the world and not see a bottle of this exceptional 12 year old sitting on the gantry.
On a recent trip to Ireland (both North and South) I visited many bars and restaurants and stayed in one or two hotels, although some of these establishments had a limited stock of malts, there was always a bottle of Glenfiddich 12 Year Old sitting their.
In Grace Neill’s Bar, which is reputed to be the oldest bar in Ireland, Jim and Philip (Our host and previous guest taster of the Whisky Boys) had a couple of drams and we both stayed with Scotch, the bottle of Glenfiddich on the shelf was almost finished and when Jim and Philip finished the bottle the barman was able to go and get a fresh bottle from his cellar, and he told us that this was his best selling Scotch.
As this is a classically rich and fruity dram we can all be rest assured that if you want a quality dram, then a Glenfiddich is almost always there to tingle your taste buds.
So to finish this please check out Glenfiddich’s website and find out more about this wee dram and all the other expression available from this fabulous Distillery.
If you go out and buy a bottle or two let them know that the Whisky Boys sent you.
