The shops have started there really big push to get into our wallets with many offers – pay for two and get the third one free, 25% discount if you buy six bottles of wine, etc etc etc, many of which are great offers. The Whisky Boys would like to suggest that the big stores – ASDA, Tesco, Morrison’s – come on we dare you – to put on an offer of buy one get one free on a bottle of malt – they can guarantee that by far this will make their supermarket THE MOST popular. (Their preference would be if it was a high end bottle of malt – but they are aware that “you don’t always get what you want”.
As you can imagine, the Christmas gift of a fine bottle of Whisky is a very popular choice, especially if the drinker enjoys the occasional dram and you want to really treat them. To assist you to get a dram that suits their palate the Whisky Boys would like to share with you what their preferred Christmas Whisky gift would be drawn from the drams that they have sampled over the past year.
