Whiskey Recipes – BBQ / Whisky Marinade
* 1/2 cups chili sauce
* 2 cups fresh orange juice ( best if you freshly squeeze )
* 1 cup treacle
* 1/2 cup honey ( clear Scottish honey is best)
* 1/2 cup whiskey ( your usual sipping blend is fine, i.e. Famous Grouse, Bells, Whyte and Mackay or Crawford’s 3 Star)
* 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
* 1/8 cup brown sugar
Directions
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Use immediately or cool and refrigerate for up to 10 days.
