A limited-edition single malt with a distinctly Japanese character, this 18-year-old Yamazaki has been matured exclusively in mizunara oak casks. The result is a whisky that captures the delicate character of this rare wood, offering aromas of dark cherries, ripe peaches, cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose. The palate is filled with aromatic notes of clove-studded oranges and Japanese incense, followed by lingering notes of clove, sandalwood and dried coconut.
