The second batch of Nantou Taiwanese single malt from That Boutique-y Whisky Company was distilled in 2016 and matured in a single cask for five years, before being bottled as part of its 10th Birthday Series. Aromas of vanilla, apricot, ripe apple, grist, salty sea-spray and sooty peat smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of oily malt, peppery spice, earthy ashes, seaweed and lemon zest throughout the palate.
