A 2007 Linkwood single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 12 years before being bottled in February 2020 as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of apple, kiwi, buttery pastry and honeycomb fill the nose. The palate offers notes of creamy barley, oatcakes and strawberry jam, with hints of vanilla cream and toasted brioche lingering in the finish.
