Imperial distillery closed in 1998, but thankfully there are still casks hidden in warehouses across Scotland, ready to be bottled by indies like Carn Mor. The distillery was closed more than it was open over its 100 year history, but it was producing between 1985 and 1991, when this 1989-vintage was distilled. Matured for 28 years and then bottled April 2018, it's a classic Imperial – grassy, spicy and buttery.
