Made at Glen Grant distillery in 1997, this rich, pepper single malt spent 22 years in a single refill American oak hogshead, before being bottled in April 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseur's Choice series. Delicate, sweet aromas of set honey and wildflowers mingle with soft vanilla, before developing into green apple, lemon zest and sweet honeysuckle. The palate is bursting with notes of cracked black pepper, intense dark chocolate, citrus fruits and toasted oak, before a delicate floral and citrus finish.
