The third release in Egan's Legacy series is a 17-year-old Irish single malt that was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in a Cadillac wine cask from the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. Volume III offers aromas of honey, acacia, honeysuckle, vanilla, apricot and orange that fill the nose, complemented by notes of baked peaches, pears, apricot, honey and hints of buttery pastry throughout the palate.
