A 1996 Auchroisk single malt from indie bottler Hunter Laing, matured in a refill sherry cask for almost a quarter of a century before being bottled in February 2021 as part of its Old Malt Cask series. Aromas of yellow apples, heather honey and caramel fill the nose, complemented by notes cinnamon and stewed fruit throughout the palate.
