70cl / 56.9% / Thompson Bros – A 1995 Tobermory single malt from independent bottler Thompson Bros that was matured in a refill hogshead for 27 years, before being bottled in December 2022. Aromas of Haribo hearts, violets, peach liqueur, white tea, linseed oil, meadow herbs and damp driftwood fill the nose, complemented by notes of wood polish, gooseberries, unripe pear, quince, juniper, golden raisins and Lapsang Souchong tea.
