70cl / 42.9% / Douglas Laing – Bottled in 2023 as part of Douglas Laing’s Xtra Old Particular range, this sherry cask-matured single malt was distilled in an unnamed Speyside distillery in 1992. After three decades in oak, the nose offers rich spices, macerated red fruits and fresh pastries. The palate displays notes of honey, oak, walnuts and sweet sugary dates with molasses making an appearance on the finish.
