70cl / 51.8% / Elixir Distillers – A 1996 Laphroaig single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured for 24 years before being bottled in July 2020 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of barbecued seafood, TCP, juicy tomatoes, tobacco, vanilla and delicate oak fill the nose. The palate offers notes of freshly-baked bread, brine, savoury smoke and charred oak.
