70cl / 48% / Distillery Bottling – This single malt, part of Glenallachie’s Cask Finish series, rounded out its nine years of ageing in ex-oloroso sherry casks. This imparted a nice oily texture to the whisky with notes of candied ginger, toffee and caramelised nuts, underpinned by soft leather and dark chocolate.
