70cl / 53.2% / Elixir Distillers – A 2006 Croftengea single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers that was made at Loch Lomond distillery and matured in a single hogshead for 15 years, before being bottled in May 2021 as part of its Whisky Trail Silhouette series. Aromas of sea salt dark chocolate, charred oranges, grapefruit zest and dried rose petals fill the nose, complemented by notes of pineapple upside-down cake, salted caramel, nutmeg, clove, chocolate sauce, blossom honey and wisps of smoke throughout the palate
