70cl / 43% / Distillery Bottling – This single malt from Balvenie was inspired by malt master David Stewart’s exploration of the archipelago of Maderia. This release is matured in American oak casks before being finished in ex-Madeira casks. This has imparted aromas of honeycomb, medjool dates and dried fruit on the nose, leading to notes of raisin, butterscotch and cinnamon on the palate.
