75cl / 70.09% / Distillery Bottling – Barrell’s Dovetail releases are named after the woodworking technique that joins two pieces of wood together. The Gold Label release finishes its whiskies – aged up to 25 years – in a combination of ex-rum, ex-Port and ex-Cabernet casks. There is classic fruity aroma with hints of grapefruit, red currant, and a subtle touch of cabernet influence. You’ll also find notes of cherry, burdock, menthol and raspberry jam on the palate, reflecting the Port influence.
