Yesterday, (Monday 25th April) Jim popped into his local Co-op store and whilst at the checkout, a shop assistant was putting a sign up for a bottle of single malt with a third off the price, the bottle in question was an:-

Aberlour not quite as big a producer as The Glenlivet but substantial in its own right with many distinct Malts to its name. From its bread and butter 10 Year Old and the wonderful Aberlour A’bunadh through to a 31 year old reserved for the travel retail market in France, but in between we have 12 year olds, 16 year olds 18 year olds all with varying finishes and strengths to supplying many independent bottlers like Douglas Laing and Cadenhead both doing varies bottling’s including one at 21 year old, but you may have to look in some of the specialist Whisky shops to try and find any of these, or indeed try the internet.
So lets get down to the price, this fabulous dram is on sale in the Co-op for only £17.32, at this price Jim bought two, one for himself and one for Nicola. You can check our tasting notes on the Aberlour 10 Year Old Whisky before buying a bottle.
So hurry on down to your local Co-op and pick up this fantastic bargain, remember to tell them the Whisky Boys sent you.
