The third release in Midleton's Virgin Irish Oak Collection, Tree 2 has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and specially-made Irish oak casks from Knockrath Estate in County Wicklow. Aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, roasted coffee beans and fresh fruit fill the nose, complemented by notes of chocolate-covered strawberries, honeycomb and peppery spice on the palate.
