The sixth release in Killowen's Bonded Experimental series, this 10-year-old Irish whiskey has been matured in a cask that previously held Mourne Mountains Brewery Oatmeal Imperial Stout. The result is rich and fruity whiskey with aromas of dark chocolate, orange peel, freshly-brewed coffee and rice crispy cakes. The palate offers notes of toffee apples, honeysuckle, vanilla, dark chocolate, nutmeg, coconut and orange that linger in the finish, alongside peppery spice and green herbs.
