The 2008 Winter Release Daftmill single malt was distilled between February and April 2008 and matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled in 2020. Aromas of vanilla, cinnamon custard, peaches, beeswax and apricot jam fill the nose, complemented by notes of spicy oak, caramel, praline, banana and dried ginger throughout the palate.
