A 2006 Balmenach single malt from indie bottler Hunter Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 14 years, before being bottled in February 2021 as part of its Old Malt Cask series. Sweet aromas of vanilla and strawberry jam fill the nose, complemented by notes of shortbread, crystalised ginger and sweet malt throughout the palate.
