70cl / 50.2% / Distillery Bottling – This limited Committee release was created to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2023, the result of an experiment by Dr Bill Lumsden, where a purifier was removed from the still to unleash the heavy vapour normally kept at bay. The result is a cask-strength expression that distorts Ardbeg’s classic balance between fruit and smoke.
