This limited edition from MacTalla was created to celebrate the 2024 Islay Festival, Feis Ile. Distilled in 2009, this tropical whisky was aged in hogsheads for 10 years and finished for a further five years in rum casks from Cruzan rum distillery. The release is offered at cask strength and displays spicy notes of chargrilled pineapples and papaya on the palate, balanced by a subtle whiff of bonfire embers.
