70cl / 49.4% / Distillery Bottling – Lindores Abbey’s Thiron dives into the history of the abbey, maybe the birthplace of whisky in Scotland. The team visited Thiron-Gardai in France, where Lindores’ monks originally came from and came back with some casks made of local Thiron oak. This whisky brings together some of that Thiron-oak-matured whisky with STR and bourbon casks to create a spicy, fruity and complex dram.
