70cl / 43% / Distillery Bottling – This Balvenie was matured in barrels that had previously held whisky from Islay, imparting a peatiness to the otherwise unpeated Speyside malt. A slightly mad mix, this has developed a cult following and is consequently increasingly hard to find.
