INGREDIENTS

50ml/2fl oz lemon juice
25ml sugar syrup
dash bitters
½ free-range egg white
50ml/2fl oz whisky, use your everyday dram
handful of ice cubes

Method

1. Pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup, bitters, egg white and whisky into a cocktail shaker.
2. Add some of the ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain and pour into a rocks glass containing a few ice cubes.
4. Sit back and slowly enjoy, when finished, have another one. you probably deserve it.
