The fifth batch of Glen Elgin single malt from indie bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company is a fruity, sweet 12 year old with aromas of pineapple, papaya, digestive biscuits, dry oak and zesty citrus on the nose. The palate offers notes of cider apples, custard creams, sliced pear, black pepper, orange peel and oatcakes that linger in the finish.
