70cl / 62.8% – A special single-cask release of whisky from Amrut selected by La Maison du Whisky in Paris: peated spirit matured in a port pipe. The pipe has an unenviable task, as Amrut’s peated spirit is a bit of a bruiser, but it does its job perfectly, mellowing the smoke and adding layers of plump fruit and spice.
