I made the whisky poached pears and loved them. I will add another cinnamon stick and a tad more honey. It did take about 35 minutes for the liquid to reduce to a wonderful sauce. TY, Diana.

I would make this again, but I would use less water(3 cups) and a little more honey and another cinnamon stick. I followed the recipe as written and it took almost 35 minutes to cook the liquid down to an acceptable sauce thickness.
