It was around 4 pm on this very cold and wintery evening that Jim and Nicola caught the train from Croy bound for Edinburgh Waverly to visit the SMWS luxurious premises at 28 Queen Street in the centre of our capital for a evening of tasting some of the best Single Cask, Single Malts in the world.
It is Sunday the 7th of November 2010 and Jim has decided to refill his Caol Ila Decanter, as it has been lying empty for too long. So a good look through his cabinet and he soon located a bottle of Caol Ila.
It was suggested that we should re-visit some of our old friends, and this Ardmore Highland Single Malt falls into that category, so how has our palates changed over the past couple of years, lets find out.
Bourbon number five in our special tasting month. This bottling is part of the W. L. Weller Antique Collection.
This makes the fourth Bourbon tasting of the month. This Bourbon comes from the Willett Distillery which sits in the hills of Kentucky.
