Chivas – Iconic Scotch Whisky Sales Grow

Chivas Brothers, owned by Pernod Ricard are currently seeing sales grow and grow and that is with some of their Whiskies ranging from just under £30 to almost £1500, this is due to the biggest new market place for selling Whisky, India, China and other large areas of Asia .

Chivas Regal Whisky sales have increased by more than 10% due to the South American and Asian Whisky drinkers love for this grand dram.

Chivas Brothers who gave us Royal Salute Whisky for Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation in 1953, where the three colours of pottery flagon reflect the jewels on the Queens crown, ruby flagon is red, emerald flagon is green and the sapphire flagon is blue. each of these flagons are encased in a fabulous velvet pouch tied with a gold cord.

The most expensive Royal Salute at almost £1500 is in a handcrafted crystal decanter which has 24 carat gold decoration.

Royal Salute Whisky sales have increased by more than 30% and most of that is down to the China and Asian markets.  These whisky drinkers half way round the world not only know a great Scotch Whisky when they see one but, they also help to keep many a Scotsman in employment producing these iconic Whiskies.

So these iconic and prestigious Scotch Whiskies are up there with the other icons, Rolex, Chanel and Rolls Royce.
