This time we have visited Tesco and found a couple of best buys and that these will be ongoing until the 1st June 2010, so boys and girls get on down, these are good savings on some nice malts.
The first one for today is Yamazaki 10 Year Old (check out our tasting for the Yamazaki 18 Year old Dec 2009 ) albeit we have tasted the 10 year old and found it to be be a great wee dram, the Whisky Boys have still to do a full blown tasting on this 10 Year Old Yamazaki.
So go down to Tesco and save some money on this grand dram. Originally priced £28.99 and reduced by £5.00 to only £23.99.
Our second deal was on the Balvenie Signature 12 Year Old. Again like the Yamazaki 10 Year Old we have still to do an official tasting but have done a tasting on the Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year Old (which we tasted in May 2009 ).
There is even a bigger saving down at Tesco on this wee dram. Originally priced at £31.07 but with a saving of £6.00 the new price is £25.07.
These are the sort of savings the Whisky Boys pounce upon to keep our cabinet’s well stocked, you just have to be prepared, as we don’t think anyone gets advice about up and coming deals prior to them hitting the shelves.
On some occasions they are not even advertised and some deals just appear with no cut of date, and this goes for all major supermarkets.
