Well this is another of our purchases from McTears Rare Whisky Auctions, and to change the subject a little Jim and Nicola will be heading off to McTears Rare Whisky Auction on Wednesday 5th May 2010.

So around at Nicola’s we gathered with great excitement with the view of opening this grand dram.

Glen Moray Distillery sits on the banks of the River Lossie in the city of Elgin, the capital of Speyside, a region rich in Malt Whisky. Glen Moray Single Malt Whisky has been distilled here since 1897.

Well, again this one was a delight to taste ( and guess what, Nicola is holding onto the bottle and its contents, could be empty the next time Jim visits ) as far as we can find out, there are not many bottles of these available, so if anyone comes across one or two then they should buy them right away. We think that you may have to go close to three figures of be the owner of one of these.

If anyone out there has a bottle or two and would like to sell them, give us a shout.

This tasting was quite special, looking forward to many more as good as this one.
