As mentioned we are neighbours, and share a real passion for the Amber Nectar of the Scottish sort.  We hope that you will enjoy reading our tales, stories and reviews.  We would also hope that you would interact with us, telling us of some of your tales and tastings including your favourite drams.

We are planning to visit 3/4 distilleries over the next couple of months (What a hardship) so watch this space.  We are also planning to visit Islay in May 2009 for the Islay Whisky & Music festival.  Jim and his wife, Jacqueline, attended this event in May  2007 together with friends from America who loved every minute.   One of the stories to come will detail some of the highlights of that visit.

This web site is slowly maturing under the leadership and guidance of our own newly appointed Webmaster, Jim’s daughter.   So keep watching and we hope that these pages will intrigue, excite, amuse, educate, enlighten and hopefully help develop your appetite and palate for Scotch.

Dougie has pledged that he will cover more miles with the well travelled hip flask as he has many more golf courses to master.  The contents of the flask will be published as and when the round of golf is finished – he really should tell us his score as well.
